PROMOTING AND ORGANIZATION ENTITIES APGICO The non-profit association APGICO (Portuguese Association for Innovation and Creativity management in Organizations), was formed by a team of members, with connections to universities and companies, who are interested in the development of creativity and innovation in organizations. The APGICO´s mission is to develop, spread and promote knowledge and experience in the area of creativity and innovation management in organizations, helping to create conditions for competitiveness of companies and effectiveness in organizations. ASOCREA The ASOCREA´s (Spanish Association of Creativity) members are the most renowned scientists from Spain and representatives of most of Spanish universities and some of Latin-American and Portuguese universities. In addition to other activities, the ASOCREA publishes the scientific magazine “Creatividad y Sociedad”; awards prizes, such as “The prize of Ricardo Marín”, to individuals or institutions that contribute to enhance creativity in science and culture and organizes international congresses. The latest congress took place in Sevilla in January this year. This congress gathered about 300 enrolments, included the presence of personalities such as Dr Muhammad Yunus, president of the Grameen Bank (Bank for the poor), winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2006. GAIM The GAIM (Marketing and Research Academic Office) is a private organization in public service that provides scientific, technical and human resources necessary to understand the market and the community. By exploring and analysing new market trends and the changes in consumption and opinion; by resorting to market research and communication plans; and to organizational and human resources development studies, among others, GAIM provides objective and innovative answers for its clients´ issues, thus enhancing their internal efficiency and their market effectiveness.
SPONSORSHIP INUAF Officially recognized in 1997, the INUAF (O Instituto Superior Dom Afonso II), situated in Loulé, Algarve, is a private university providing public service, being a part of the National Network of Higher Education in Portugal. The INUAF offers several courses at undergraduate level, postgraduate studies, master´s studies etc. TOWN HALL OF LOULÉ Located in the heart of the Algarve, the city of Loulé hosts the main municipality of the region, comprising 11 neighbourhoods spread over four distinct areas, with different characteristics: The mountain, the lower mountain, barrocal and the costal.
